The Vyborg Bay is itself a bay of the Gulf of Finland ((フィンランド語:Suomenlahti)) in the Baltic Sea. The Castle of Vyborg and the Park Monrepos are located by Zashchitnaya Bay. The old 1856 opened Saimaa Canal, as well as the new one, both begin in Zashchitnaya Bay, too. ==History== Before 1944 Suomenvedenpohja was located in the city of Viipuri and in municipality of Viipuri ((フィンランド語:Viipurin maalaiskunta)) in Finland.
